Empire's investment in technology enables us to deliver first quality packaging designs which transition into economical protection for your products. Our Design Lab is equipped with a state-of-the-art Kongsberg CAD Table powered by the most current version of Artios software. Our design program is seamlessly integrated into Amtech's software system allowing for accurate and speedy transfer of information. Most importantly, our technology is managed by two highly trained structural designers who turn your requirements into reality.
Empire State Container is now equipped with an ISTA Certified Test Laboratory making it possible for us to conduct ISTA evaluations. This new facility allows us to test for packaging strength, package performance, and integrity.
Package Product Test 150 lbs. or less
ISTA test procedure 1A tests individually packaged products weighing 150 lbs. or less using shock and vibration. Test Procedure 1A is an integrity test for individually packaged products as prepared for shipment. Use ISTA test 1A to evaluate the design and integrity of one package versus another and for packaging design for non-unitized items shipped via small-parcel carriers, such as FedEx or UPS, or common carrier. Tests are conducted in Empire's independent ISTA-certified test lab.
